The application provides a convenient and enjoyable method for conducting name drawings in gift exchanges. Participants have the flexibility to be selected either from contacts or entered manually. Moreover, participants can be notified via email or text, with the text option extending support to wifi-only devices such as iPad or iPod Touch by utilizing email to SMS gateways for transmission. Customization of notification messages is available, and the application allows the person in charge to conduct the process without viewing the names drawn.

Participant grouping functionality is offered to prevent individuals from drawing a name from the same group, often utilized for couples or spouses. Additionally, the app records exchange history and prevents duplicate name selections across different draws.

Each participant can be categorized based on their role within the exchange, whether they give and receive gifts in a shared exchange, only give to specific participants, or solely receive gifts. The outcomes can be printed using an Airprint printer for participants without email access or those preferring hard copies. The history display showcases names drawn and gifts given in past exchanges for reference.

The application operates without displaying advertising and ensures data privacy by storing information on the user's device, automatically backed up during iTunes/iCloud backup operations. Compatibility with PC Gift Exchange files offers seamless transfer by emailing *.gx files from a PC to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Multiple exchanges can be created and saved separately to manage various gifting scenarios efficiently.

Additional features include the ability to include optional gift suggestions in notification emails which can be added by the organizer. These suggestions will then be presented to participants matched with that specific name during the exchange process.
